The new factory introduced an impingement freezer and an automated pasta production line, improving production efficiency while achieving greater automation and labor savings.

Guangzhou Saizeriya Food Co., Ltd. is the first factory established in China by the Saizeriya Group, supplying ingredients to Saizeriya’s Italian restaurants.
The company’s central kitchen in China has established a system in which approximately 80% of its menu items are pre-processed, mainly producing frozen foods and seasonings such as pizza, sauces, and pasta.
To achieve a production capacity of 5,000 packs of pasta per hour, the customer needed to increase production capacity and reduce freezing time.
The system also needed to be synchronized with the upstream pasta cooking equipment.
For long-term and stable production, it was essential for the product receiving, tray conveying and collecting, and tray removal systems to operate continuously without failures or blockages.
Another key challenge was to ensure smooth coordination between the tunnel freezer, automated production line, pasta cooking equipment, and downstream packaging line.
We achieved shorter freezing times and reduced the required footprint by adopting an impingement tunnel freezer incorporating the latest technology.
Based on the customer’s requirements, we also proposed a fully automated production line covering the entire process, from tray supply, noodle receiving, weighing, loading into the freezer, unloading from the freezer, flipping, tray removal, tray washing, to tray collection.
As there is currently no established technology in China capable of realizing such a complete automated production line, the ability of FTE’s automated production line to achieve a labor-saving and highly automated production system was also a major factor in the customer’s decision to adopt our solution.
In addition, the automatic CIP cleaning system contributes to improved hygiene and sanitation management, which was also an important factor in the customer’s decision.

After installation, the system underwent a period of adjustment and test operation before achieving the expected targets.
The introduction of the automated production line has significantly reduced labor requirements, while maximizing freezing and production capacity and ensuring stable freezing quality.
The integrated system also contributes to a stable, reliable, and safe production environment.
From defining the requirements and selecting the equipment to manufacturing, on-site installation, commissioning, and final completion, FTE provided careful and detailed support throughout the entire project.
This project has also laid a solid foundation for the introduction of equipment in the second and third phases of the customer’s expansion plans.
We sincerely appreciate their trust and cooperation and look forward to working together again on future projects.
