Mekeni Food Corporation needed to further increase production capacity and reduce freezing time while handling a wide variety of products.
In addition, improving freezing quality and hygiene management was also important to achieve stable and consistent production over the long term.
For this project, the customer had been considering for about ten years.
The spiral freezer was selected because it can handle a wide variety of products while providing high processing capacity and rapid freezing.
In addition, J&C Trade and Contracting Works Inc., which had previously been responsible for the ammonia refrigeration system installation for the existing blast freezer, also handled the refrigeration-side work for the new spiral freezer.
The inclusion of a CIP cleaning system was also an important factor in improving hygiene and sanitation management.
The introduction of the spiral freezer has enabled the customer to handle a wide variety of products while increasing production capacity and reducing freezing time, contributing to stable and consistent freezing quality.
In addition, the CIP cleaning system has contributed to improved hygiene and sanitation management.
The customer has also given positive feedback on the newly installed freezer. The project has attracted considerable interest from customers in related industries, with some visiting the factory to see the freezer in operation.
Furthermore, this project was FTE’s first project in the Philippines, making it an important achievement for the company and an important step toward further expanding FTE’s business in the Philippine market.
